Lab 1: Intro to Experimentation
(This is the one lab I haven't rewritten yet -- in the future, I plan to make this an activity on scientific writing & using Desmos! maybe curve-fitting too, if it's not too forced?)
The purported goal of this lab is to:
- Teach you how to quantify statistical uncertainties in experiments, both in direct measurements, and values you calculate from those measurements.
- Introduce you to position sensors, how they work, and their limitations.
In my opinion, this lab fails miserably at those things.
